Burberry CEO inspirational article

"she's all talent and no pretension."
You have to see it to believe it is my personal take on dreamers achieving their dreams.   I'd like to share an article linked by a friend from wherelse but Facebook regarding the Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts and how she balances work and life "Earning Her Stripes". As young women, despite your career goals, I believe it's really important to learn from others who have gone before us. Of course reading it, I didn't understand everything because I've never been a part of high fashion nor work with such luxurious brands, but it's a good read (6 pages I believe)! Even if we read about a woman who achieves amazing success and has done incredibly things but we do not know of her company or brand, it doesn't motivate or inspire us as much. However, since this is vice versa ( I think a lot of people know of Burberry), it impacts us more and we think to ourselves, "hey, I can do that!" She grew up in Indiana and made it to where she is without things being handed to her because "she's all talent and no pretension."

March 15,2011 marks my very first makeup tutorial "15 minutes for every makeup." ** I know it is not anything exciting for others, but I will remember this first tutorial, my contribution to the YouTube community. Makeup for me was a medium because I thought I could sell them, but like a relationship, now I like to play and practice with them because it's my escape. It helps me to bring something else within me I didn't think I had, creativity, courage, and it's a reminder to not limit yourself to who you think you can be. I hope in a couple of years, my skills will be a lot better and I can help give better makeovers and help bring out the outerbeauty that others may not see in themselves, just as it did for me.

Review: Maybelline's Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

Maybelline's Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner   in  Blackest Black  is very creamy and super gentle when applied to the lids, not to mention the brush is definitely a great add in as well. I remember when I first bought the L'oreal Hip Gel Eyeliner, the tiny brush that came with it was super stiff and horrible, but this brush is more flexible and it can be use to fling your winged eyeliners and such.  Would I repurchase this product again?  Yes, I really want to   eggplant .  In terms of staying power, I have really oily lids, so when I had this on the other day, it lasted a lot longer than I thought (although I don't remember how many hours, definitely not 24 though because I could tell part of the liner was fading).  I'm sure if you apply an eye primer base or your concealer, it would last a very long time.    I took this picture right after I bought the product because I was so excited to try it since it had ...

Can a $2 castor oil product make your eyelashes grow?! Or is it a magical "potion?"

Has anyone heard of CASTOR OIL? ( bottle on the right) I came across this product when I searched on YouTube for ways to help eyelashes grow other than the vaseline I was trying, (well, I didn't want to spend $40 on Rapidlash). I had another YTuber who was using castor oil + olive oil  to enhance her lash growth and thought, why not try it?!    I tried it for a couple weeks but it didn't really make an impact on me. But now, I have returned! and is trying just Castor Oil only this time =) However, I'm doing a mini eyelashes experiment to compare the growth between Castor oil ( will be apply to the right eye) and Sweet Almond Oil (left eye) for 1 month.  Read below to see the benefits of this versatile oil and if my eyelashes even grew between the 2. What is CASTOR OIL? According to Skinverse , Castor Oil is extracted from the seeds of the castor oil (ricinus communis), its color is pale yellow and rather transparent, sort of just like olive oil. It doesn't r...

First Goodbye

This specific day I said goodbye to something, the first of its kind in my life.It is difficult to let go when something has become part of your life and you will not be the same after it is gone.  I will do my best to focus on other things in my life and getting things done.  I don't regret it though, I'm grateful because we are not rocks nor stones that are untouchable and life brings us events and people to change our lives. Thank you for everything you have given me I now have a thing for rings and earrings, long earrings. The one above is my favorite (Charlotte Russe), it reminds me of mango leaves for some reason and  that leads to the book The House on Mango Street that I will read by the end of this year. Have you ever been in an experience where you never want to be in ever again? I never want to be so cold again, therefore, I always wear a small camsole (is that right?) inside all of my shirts.  I think i'm kind of into lacey clothing items. ...
