part of my peace is practicing makeup

2010 is soon to over and 2011 will be here in approximately 1 day. I think after you pass 23 years of age, you tend to reminiscence more on your age and associates it with your lack of accomplishments. Its like that time in college when you save the entire day to finish a paper or study for a test, yet you become so distracted with everything else and tries to do everything else. In the end, not much was done. Time waits for no woman or man. I know at times things happen in our lives and we loose our hope, faith, and our strength in the world, loosing what we had in your heart that keep us going. I am not anyone to give advice to others (because sometimes good intentions lead to otherwise),but I know these past 2 years have been very difficult for me. I went through new changes and emotions that I never felt before-but these things are normal, human nature I would say, that happens as you eventually grow older. I may not have been as strong as I should and would have lik...

Being yourself & just working hard because you can

Hi everyone, did you missed me? *Smile* I've been working really hard lately since it's the holidays, retail jobs loves holidays =) especially Christmas. The internet still doesn't work yet, hopefully by the 22nd, I don't have to go to Barnes & Noble, Boba, or coffee shop, or other places to use the internet =( This job has been really fun because it makes me dress up (because I never really dress in anything outside than my jeans) Today, I even wore a DRESS, yes, I said it, a dress with black and red stripes, along with cute side pockets with gray tights. I'd never really though I'd wear this because I've always been self conscious about my huge calves, but I've seen other people who are about my size wear them and they they look pretty- =) A little stepping out of the box for me before 2010 ends. Dress for yourself, professional, comfortable, and nice. A coworker of mine says I randomly smile, or asked- I just said "I'm grateful to b...

Tuck it in

Tuck in your shirt: Day 5 I've been tucking in my shirt since I was middle school,  starting with these long and big shorts to my knees.  I guess it's just the right thing to do with a shirt rather to let it hang out? There are very pretty belts now that can limit the act of tucking in a shirt- I guess my brain was so used to it that I didn't even realize it was even so. It's been very cold lately, I always feel too cold after work while running to the parking lot. My mother and I created a plan that included an extra pair of socks, a tiny blanket ( sometimes finding parking to the house can take a while), a beanie to keep me warm before and after work, and of course, remembering to turn on the heat in the car (I always forget we have such warming devices nowadays). Warm, call me, Hang warm =) *har har* Slacks : unknown store (?) Dress shirt: Steven & Barrrys Shoes: Payless (super comfortable thanks to TrinnyGrinny =) Jacket: Express I've been able ...

First time wearing red lips & tights

Have you ever sufferd one of those times where you  put on makeup and the right lip color, even a new hairstyle-- most important of all, you think you look nice . When the pictures come out- "What?! Is that how I look on cameras?!" *Runs away and hides face* Last night for friend's birthday party- I wore red lipstick for the first time , it was a goregous matte red with hint of orange. My FIRST TIME wearing such a strong color. I was using a foundation that I had thought was a bit too light before- but knowing me, I forgot. I had looked at myself in the mirror  and gave myself the thumbs up*Thumbs up* before leaving the house. My face looked like a semi round shaped ball that is pale white! The lesson here is despite what you end up "looking like" on cameras- angles and lights do play major roles in how one looks in pictures, picutres don't necessarily capture everything. Experiementing with differerent makeup colors, hair styles,  and clothes is ...

your life can change in a second

Eventhough there may be certain "things" we can't see, but we feel/know they exist. in a second, your life can change, and I am so grateful and thankful for my guardian angels ♥ Sometimes we get "little" wake up calls to slap us in the face and tell us, wake up! Even those we love no longer are in our lives physically, they're still here protecting and watching us, so know that you're always loved by someone. Goodnite =)

Hello & Farewell

Hi everyone, It has been a month since I have posted anything. I've been on a mini "vacation" or actually "work vacation" to Waupaca, Wisconson. It has been a nice trip, although there may have been some downs, but overall, I'm very happy with the experience. Did you know Waupaca has 20+ something lakes, connected by channels? The trees are green everywhere, since the weather has been so sporatic, rain, thunder, humidity, sunshine, including storm warnings.  The city may be small, but there are many things to do (even if I didn't have time to experience most of them). However, the people here are very receptive and kind and wonderful =) Spending time with my sister has taught me great patience, I have yet to attain the patience I need. It's difficult because you don't want to keep quiet when the other person is wrong or right, but sometimes you just need to keep your mouth quiet. Although my sister and I may not always get along or agree ...

World Cup 2010 "Be the Wavin' Flag"

Is anyone super estatic for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa? or the NBA's Final Championship between the Lakers and Boston Celtics? I am not a big sports fan, but with these two major events, it makes the summer a little bit more exciting! (It is a crime, or should be a crime that some athletes are so heavenly built, not to mention the handsome faces, and are so extremely gifted in sports!) As I have stated, I am not familiar with the world of sports, but it makes you think of the vast capabilities and potentials that individuals can have. We are familiar with the saying  everyone has a unique gift, a special talent, but some stand out more than others and dedicate their entire lives to them. We need to find what we love and put in the endless hours, hard work, patience, etc...to become amazingly good at it.   I wonder if all these world class athletes were told as children they would be someone great one day? In such places as the United States, there are opport...
