First Goodbye

This specific day I said goodbye to something, the first of its kind in my life.It is difficult to let go when something has become part of your life and you will not be the same after it is gone.  I will do my best to focus on other things in my life and getting things done.  I don't regret it though, I'm grateful because we are not rocks nor stones that are untouchable and life brings us events and people to change our lives. Thank you for everything you have given me I now have a thing for rings and earrings, long earrings. The one above is my favorite (Charlotte Russe), it reminds me of mango leaves for some reason and  that leads to the book The House on Mango Street that I will read by the end of this year. Have you ever been in an experience where you never want to be in ever again? I never want to be so cold again, therefore, I always wear a small camsole (is that right?) inside all of my shirts.  I think i'm kind of into lacey clothing items. ...

Tuck it in

Tuck in your shirt: Day 5 I've been tucking in my shirt since I was middle school,  starting with these long and big shorts to my knees.  I guess it's just the right thing to do with a shirt rather to let it hang out? There are very pretty belts now that can limit the act of tucking in a shirt- I guess my brain was so used to it that I didn't even realize it was even so. It's been very cold lately, I always feel too cold after work while running to the parking lot. My mother and I created a plan that included an extra pair of socks, a tiny blanket ( sometimes finding parking to the house can take a while), a beanie to keep me warm before and after work, and of course, remembering to turn on the heat in the car (I always forget we have such warming devices nowadays). Warm, call me, Hang warm =) *har har* Slacks : unknown store (?) Dress shirt: Steven & Barrrys Shoes: Payless (super comfortable thanks to TrinnyGrinny =) Jacket: Express I've been able ...

I'm grateful for work =)

The weather has been sooo cold here in Northern California, much colder than last year =(  I don't think I can ever imagine myself living anywhere but the warm states, unless its New York and there's no need to drive with the subway/cabs. Ay, with the 30 for 30 challenge, I have been so uncreative, but now that I'm starting to work, I'll be more out of the box of my typical self and practice wearing different makeup at the same time.  I'm so grateful because I finally found a part time job and after the first day of work (yesterday), I was so tired and end up sick. From now on, I will make sure to keep myself warm and wear tons of layers of clothing because it is so easy to get sick in this type of weather. One of most dislike situations is being sick- it just makes you feel helpless and weak. I'm gong to make sure I work extra hard and always do my best because I'm so grateful to have found it. How do people work full time, go to school, and still raise...

I can't get out of my jeans and converse

DAY 2 The most difficult challenge within the 30 for 30 is that I cannot get out of my blue jeans & converse, I'm so comfortable and use to them. I think this challenge will be easier once I start working soon, I'm still inside my fashion comfort. Day 2, I even tried to wear the shoes and added the necklace so the outfit will look a bit more different than what i'm used to wearing =) DAY 3  (excuse the wrong labeling on the pictures & weird dates) Happy late Thanksgiving =)

Hustling 30 for 30 challenge and a makeup look every 3 days! =)

A very good friend and family member of mine is doing this challenge, "30 for 30"- a challenge to use 30 items, including shoes to create different outfits, for well, 30 days without shopping. I really love going to her blog Piggly Winks to look at her new outfits and accessories. They are all so creative and beautiful and of course, stylish! I've never really been into fashion because I never really had money to spend on clothes. Through Nancy, I found Kinsey In Kinsey's Closet and I think her blog is great! It shows that an average female's body can look beautiful in all her wonderful outfits! (not to mention I love her confidence) When I was in elementary, middle, and part of high school, my brother and mom would take me shopping at Sears and I never really picked my own clothes. Well, before my family immigrated to Vietnam, my parents were taylors and my mom would make my clothes for me, very pretty clothes! I had 1 or 2 dress suits, I remember I had...
